Superbowl Sunday Tidbits

Today is the one day a year we will allow hockey to take a back seat in your mind–just as long as it never takes a back seat in your heart!

Here’s some food for thought to supplement all of the actual food you’ll be eating today:

• In case you missed it, Brooks Orpik completely annihilatedDaniel Paille in yesterday’s showdown against Boston.

• Coach Bylsma has stated Despres and Staal are both progressing in their rehabilitation from their respective knee injuries and could soon be returning to practice as soon as next week.
• Matt Cooke has two goals in his last three games. He’s been playing some incredible hockey lately and is one to watch.
• Most importantly, we face off against the New Jersey Devils today at 1:00 PM EST! Go Penguins!
