Despite the NHL and NHLPA claiming that they’re close to a new deal, players continue to leave for Europe. The latest one? Kris Letang.
Letang has signed with SKA Saint Petersburg in the KHL. He is expected to play his first game with them on Saturday, against Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
Tanger will be teammates with former Philadelphia Flyers and current Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Sergei Bobrovsky and New Jersey Devils’ forward Ilya Kovalchuk, who will be his captain.
